Vector
A vector is an element of a vector space, which is an algebraic system with operations of addition, subtraction, and scalar multiplication that satisfy familiar arithmetic laws. In applications, vectors represent quantities such as force that have both magnitude and direction. These two properties are sometimes taken as the working definition of a vector.
