Ratio test

Ratio test: Given a series MATH, compute MATH. If $L<1$, then the series converges absolutely. If $L>1$, then the series diverges. If the limit $L$ does not exist, or if $L=1$, then you can conclude nothing about the convergence or divergence of the series.
